Personality :Just like her brother Elijah Maya is very cautious. Always planning ahead and choosing her words with extreme care so gets what she wants. Cool and composed would be the only way that one could describe Maya. She level headed and thinks before she acts. She had been known to show kindness towards human and value life unless she provoked. Maya does not anger easily. Well, it’s safe to say that this is one vampire that no one wants to piss off, if they value their life.

History: Remaya well let’s say she had been born a very very long time ago. She was turned sometime before the 15th century. When Maya was seventeen she was attacked in the woods near her home. Alone and near dead it was hours before her brother found her. Elijah was able to give her some of his blood. Elijah’s blood was still in her system, thus turning her into a vampire. Till this day it is unknown what who or what that attacked her. Many do not know of Maya or her whereabouts. Elijah feared Klaus would use her against him. So she was kept hided from Kluase and the other originals. She spent most of her life in Asia and in Europe.
Over the years Maya learned how to control her blood lust. She tried to live on a non-humandiet for a short period of time. However, she prefers the taste of human blood. Unlike her bother may be indifferent to humanity as a whole, she has a respect for human life. She is willing to in interact with humans. Maya loves reading romance novels and read them in her spare time. Loving the idea of falling in love even if, she has never experienced it before.
Elijah would visit from time to time. He always stressed the important of maintaining a low profile. Despite her age, Maya is forced to consistently keep at least one guard by her side at all time. For the last ten years Maya has lived in one Kos a Greek island in the south Sporades, next to the Gulf of Gökova. Reading and studying on her history of Mystic falls.
