The sun was merely breaking up along the horizon, but with the heavy cloud coverage you almost could not even tell. Kira ducked her head down, annoyed at the rain. She only had a rain coat, and there was no hood to protect her. Her hair fell in wet strands around her face, but it didn't bother her much; she ignored it.

Kira walked smoothly along the sidewalks that surround the school, not another soul in sight. Few students, or even teachers were awake this early on a weekend, unless they had a specific reason. Thanks to the heavy cloud coverage, not a ray of sun shined through, not that the sun would do anything to Kira. She touched the small pendant that hung on the long chain around her neck.

Kira smiled slyly, she needed this fresh air, the walk to clear her mind. But the silence out here was deafening. She actually could have used some conversation or something.

Kiraa ducked her head down again when the rain fell harder for a moment, she looked down as a way of working to keep the rain out of her eyes. She moved swiftly, but she sensed someone's presence, so she slowed down. She was immensely surprised that someone else would be out, walking the campus grounds, but she was so sure she'd heard someone else walking.
