HISTORY,
Elena Miranda Gilbert was born on March 1st to Isobel Flemming and John Gilbert. Her mother gave birth to her in high school then gave her up for adoption to Miranda Sommers Gilbert and Grayson Gilbert. Elena had normal life, her mother, Miranda decided to have more child, Jeremy. On May 23rd, 2009 Elena went to a party, she was told she wasn’t able to go to a party she really wanted to go to that party at her a friend’s house. She went anyways and couple hours after the party Elena calls for her parents to come pick her up. After they picked her up they on their way to the Gilbert’s home when they crashed, they car landed in the Wickery Bridge River. She and her brother were saved, but sadly her parents did not make it. It made a big impact on her, she blamed herself for it and her personality changed. She was dating a boy name Matt who she broke up with. She kept writing in her journal, her mother gave Elena her first journal when was little and she keeps writing in. Her Aunt Jenna took both Elena and her brother Jeremy in to her home.
It was finally time for school and she started off the morning with “Dear Diary today will be different. It has to be. I will smile, and it will be believable. My smile will say, "I'm fine, thank you. Yes, I feel much better." I will no longer be the sad little girl that lost her parents. I will start fresh, be someone new. It's the only way I'll make it through.” Later when she arrives to school she walks into the school with her bestfriend Bonnie, they both notice a boy, Stefan and Bonnie comments “I see a hot back.” Elena laughed a bit then she saw her brother walk into bathroom and she followed him into the bathroom thinking he had drugs. As she finished talking to her brother she walked out the boy’s bathroom and ran into Stefan apologizing for not paying attention and explained why she was in the boy’s bathroom. They both walk off separately.
Later on her and Stefan become closer and start dating; she find out that he was a vampire. At first she was a little frighten, but she isn’t any more. She finds out that she has a Doppelgänger who was Katherine. And that lead to, she was adopted. She tried to contact her biological, she ends of finding out that her mother, Isobel was turned in vampire by Damon years back. At the time she didn’t know who her father was. Her uncle came into town. She doesn’t like very much, who was revealed to be her biological father. Elena ends up finding her uncle on the floor the night of founder’s day stabbed by Katherine and gets rushed to the hospital. Vampire a came into down, Elijah who was original saw Elena. He later made a deal with her, he said he would keep all of her friends and family safe if she did what he said; in that deal she was going to die. Elijah is now currently not alive and Stefan, Elena, and Damon have to make a new plan. Katherine is willing to help, but is it the truth?
